Job Description
Subserveo is looking for a Senior Sales Director in New York or Chicago to assist in meeting the growing demand for the Subserveo solution in these markets. This is an individual contributor sales role working with the support of an Inside Sales Representative and a Pre-Sales Representative.

Job Description
Sales Support Representative is based in Vancouver with no travel required. This role works very closely with the Account Managers to provide support on various sales and account management tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Managing inbound requests and leads
  • Prospecting into their defined territory
  • Closing small transactions
  • Closing annual renewal contracts


Qualifications

  • 2-5 years of B to B sales experience
  • Solid track record of business development (prospecting)

Pre Sales Support Representative

Job Description
Pre-Sales Support Representative is based in Vancouver with limited travel required. This role works very closely with the sales team to provide technical and product support on various sales and account management tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Providing sales with product knowledge and support
  • Understanding the technical requirements of prospects
  • Demonstrating Subserveo’s ability to meet those requirements
  • Managing the technical aspects of multiple POC’s
  • Training the sales team on recent product advancements
  • Providing a feedback loop to product development regarding client needs

Qualifications

  • 5 + years of technical pre-sales or broker-dealer “back office” experience
  • Solid understanding of the financial services systems and processes

Job Description

Lead Developer — Cloud Computing SaaS

Job Description

  • Participating in all stages of the software development life cycle
  • Design and lead the development of new products
  • Provide technical leadership in design & architecture decisions
  • Maintain and enhance existing mission-critical services
  • Work closely with product management and developers, providing technical guidance, expertise and recommendations and absorbing hints for emergent requirements
  • Identify and pursue opportunities to improve productivity of business logic and client implementation developers
  • Identify and pursue opportunities to improve operational efficiency, reliability, security and manageability of the deployed application
  • Create and maintain documentation on product architecture

Intermediate Software Developer

Job Description

  • Developing and maintaining all layers of a modern web application from DB to middle layer to web based user interfaces
  • Working against a source code versioning system (i.e.: Subversion)

Qualifications

Database Architect/Analyst/Developer — Cloud Computing SaaS

Job Description

  • Oversee database architecture, database design, partitioning, services interfaces, DB plumbing (indexes, procedures, triggers, etc.) for our SaaS financial analytics product
  • Practice Martin Fowler’s work, especially Database Refactoring and Agile Database processes
  • Lead the effort in mapping data sources to the DB physical model and ensuring data integrity and quality issues
  • Responsible for Performance, tuning and optimization, using monitoring and troubleshooting tools
  • Gain an intimate understanding of the database access and usage, and the impact of loads and usage by various applications
  • Create and implement an appropriate maintenance program including monitoring, database backup recovery and DR processes
  • Assist with application architecture / service architecture / developers as required
  • Interface with customers and subject matter experts to understand business requirements to be added to our products
  • Ensures the design and operation of the DB is secure
  • Maintains working knowledge of best practices within industry for technologies and methodologies

Requirements

  • Demonstrated a proven track record of designing, implementing and maintaining production Databases, with many aspects described above
  • Experience with MySQL and MS SQL Server (others an asset)
  • Extensive knowledge of data models best practices
  • Practical experience in monitoring and tuning databases to provide a high availability service
  • Experience with techniques to meet production uptime and performance requirements and implementing operational automation using scripts
  • Extensive knowledge of data architecture principles, including operational data stores OLTP systems and data warehouse concepts
